Part 1 : Scholastic Area
  • There will be two terms in both classes IX & X, the First Term will be from April – September and the Second Term from October – March of the subsequent year.
  • Each term will have two Formative and one Summative Assessment.
  • Assessment will be indicated in Grades.
  • The Grading Scale for the Scholastic Areas is a Ten Point Grading Scale.
  • Overall grade of Formative Assessments over the two terms (FA1+FA2+FA3+FA4) and the overall grade of Summative Assessment (SA1+SA2) has to be calculated. The total of the two grades which comprises Formative and Summative.
  • The CGPA (Cumulative Grade Point Average) will be provided excluding additional 6th subject as per Scheme of studies.
  • An indicative equivalence of Grade Point and Percentage of marks can be computed as follows :
Subject wise indicative percentage of marks = 9.5 x GP of the subject. Overall indicative percentage of marks = 9.5 x CGPA.
Part 2 : Co – Scholastic Area

Part 2 consists of Co-Scholastic Areas where students are assessed in four parts on a Five Point Grading Scale.

2 (A) Life Skills

2 (B) Work Education
2 (C) Visual and Performing Arts
2 (D) Attitudes and Values

: Life Skills consists of Thinking Skills, Social Skills and Emotional Skills
: Work Education
: Visual and Performing Arts
: Attitudes & Values consists of attitudes towards Teachers, schoolmates, School programmes and Environment.

Value systems refers to the framework which must be developed right through Primary to Secondary level. These are to be filled in after a period of observation over the year by the Class Teacher in consultation with the subject teachers.
Part 3 : Co – Curricular Activities
Part 3 consists of Co-curricular Activities wherein choice in participation and assessment thereof is available. It has two sub parts to be assessed on a five-point grading scale.
Part 3 (A) : ( Any Two *)
  1. Literary and Creative Skills
  2. Scientific Skills
  3. Information and Communication Technology (ICT)
  4. Organizational and Leadership Skills (Clubs)
Part 3(B):
1. Sports/ Indigenous sports

A student will be graded in any two activities from these groups and will be assessed on their level of participation and achievement.


As the pre-primary level is the foundational stage of the tiny tots, our main focus is to set their mind fear free by providing a secure home environment through a play-way method making the formal schooling interesting and entertaining with a perfect balance of Activity based learning, inculcating within each child the essence and meaning of love.

Std I – V

At the primary level we strive and focus on Extra-Curricular Activities apart from the academic course, to develop a good communication skill with a perfect blend of discipline and inculcating, moral values as the basic component within each child for their scholastic development.

Std VI – X

The middle school follow the NCERT curriculum through different methods and approaches and the school caters to the needs of each child infusing within, knowledge and understanding for enriching their overall personality by promoting the reading habits with a purpose to create independent thinking not only to create their own knowledge but also to critically interpret, analyze and evaluate it with objectivity and fairness. Special focus is put on the scholastic and co-scholastic areas emphasizing on life skills consists of Thinking Skills, Social Skills and Emotional Skills.

Std XI – XII

The senior classes in the + 2 level, the students are free to choose any of the three streams ie., PCM, PCB and Commerce with optional subjects of Computer Science, Physical Education, Mathematics (for commerce students) following prescribed text books published by the NCERT, creating learners for the 21st century through thoughtful studies and aiming at a mastery of their techniques by continuous practice and examples through a practical approach and a minimum of theory and rules. School provides various opportunities to discover develop and deploy their talents through various competitions, team work, assigning responsibilities, developing leadership qualities; generating values and empathy towards their fellow-beings through their daily life experience. Time bound study program, workshops, seminars, educational tours help the students to face the daily challenges in life and to make a difference in their life. Through their formal education students are sensitized coping with the time management to explore the world beyond the set text.
